Amal Syam: The 16 Days Campaign Strengthens the Fight Against Violence Against Women in Palestine
Amal Syam, General Director of the Women’s Affairs Center (WAC), highlighted the importance of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. She said the campaign raises awareness of violence against women and girls across Palestine.
Furthermore, Amal Syam said the campaign encourages institutions and communities to work together. It also promotes women’s rights and protection.
Amal Syam Calls for Stronger Protection
During the campaign launch, Amal Syam stressed the need for stronger legal protection for women. She also called for policies that help prevent gender-based violence.
In addition, Amal Syam said the campaign supports efforts to adopt legislation that protects families from violence. She explained that legal reform remains a key priority.
“This campaign highlights the dangers of gender-based violence and reinforces the urgent need to protect women’s rights,” Amal Syam said.
