Amal Syam, General Director of the Women’s Affairs Center (WAC), affirmed that the “Our Women’s Products” Exhibition showcases the resilience of Palestinian women. She said the exhibition also reflects their ability to transform challenges into opportunities.
These remarks came during the opening of the 13th edition of the exhibition, organized by the Women’s Affairs Center at the French Cultural Institute in Gaza. Moreover, the event welcomed hundreds of visitors from different sectors of the community.
Amal Syam: Palestinian Women Continue to Inspire Through Determination
According to Amal Syam, the Women’s Affairs Center has organized the exhibition annually for thirteen consecutive years. The initiative aims to support women entrepreneurs, promote their products, and strengthen their economic and social empowerment.
In addition, Amal Syam explained that the participating women have demonstrated remarkable determination. Despite the blockade and economic hardship, they succeeded in developing their businesses and improving their livelihoods through creativity and perseverance.
Amal Syam: Palestinian Heritage Brings Communities Together
Furthermore, Amal Syam noted that the exhibition features traditional embroidery, handmade crafts, Palestinian fashion, and local food products. She stressed that these products represent an essential part of Palestine’s cultural heritage.
At the same time, Amal Syam explained that organizing the exhibition ahead of Christmas sends a message of unity and coexistence. She added that Palestinian women take pride in preserving a shared cultural heritage that belongs to both Muslims and Christians.

Furthermore, Amal Syam reaffirmed that the Women’s Affairs Center remains committed to creating sustainable opportunities for women entrepreneurs. She stressed that supporting women’s creativity and economic participation is essential for building stronger communities and promoting inclusive development across Palestine.
