Gaza – Palestine

Amal Syam, Director General of the Women’s Affairs Center (WAC), participated in an event organized by Trócaire as part of the Northern Ireland Human Rights Festival (NIHRF), where she spoke about the realities and challenges facing Palestinian women in the Gaza Strip.
During the discussion, Syam highlighted the multiple hardships experienced by women in Gaza, including the impact of occupation, blockade, economic insecurity, and social challenges that continue to affect women’s daily lives.
